European Ploughing Championships 2010

The National and European Ploughing Championships 2010 took place in Athy, Co Kildare, Southern Ireland from 21st to the 23rd of September 2010. The event attracted 200,000 spectators over the three days. The competition attracted 26 competitors from 13 countries. Two competitors competed from Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Sweden and Denmark.
Andy Greenhill from Kongskilde UK participated in this competition. Conditions on the first day were fair and ploughing went well. On the second day conditions were very muddy due to heavy rainfall during the night. Overall this gave Andy a very respectable result of 6th place.
